Dino Roussetos began his woodworking career right after completing his mechanical engineering diploma in 1992. Upon graduating, he felt compelled to seek work that was creative and meaningful; ultimately that meant following the family tradition.
The Roussetos family name holds a rich history in Europe: invoking years of craftsmanship and excellence in the lumber and woodworking industries. He has two uncles in Greece who are successful importers/exporters of lumber products, with 50 plus years of experience, and counting! They inspired Dino to bring the Roussetos tradition to Canada, leading him to launch a hardwood flooring manufacturing plant in Gormley, Ontario. Soon after that, wanting to be more hands on in carpentry, Dino started a renovation company.
Dino is truly passionate about carpentry. He feels refreshed and at peace in his element. The smell of sawdust and sound of wood being shaped are a delight to his senses. He’s also a perfectionist. He treats every project as if it is his own, and he doesn’t let anything leave his hands that he would not be proud to have in his own home.

We at Metrica take on renovations of all shapes and sizes ranging from basements to full home gut and remodels. Metrica believes that with the correct amount of planning we can produce a less stressful turnkey renovation for our customers. Our carpenters and trades are fully qualified and licensed to carry out the specified work, which is important when it comes to making your home a safe and useable space.
Finish Carpentry
Metrica’s final touch is what you will see for many years to come. One of our favourite summer time projects is to create functional decks and porches, which our clients will enjoy for years to come. We can incorporate of whole range of materials ranging from to cedar to ipe as well as many jaw dropping features such as planters, hidden storage and walk outs to hot tubs.
